Fetch a single bet by its id. Returns the full bet record, including its current status and the selection it was placed on. Use the id returned to you by POST /bets.

Requested resource does not exist (e.g. unknown event ID). Some 404 responses on path-not-found return an empty body. Branch on the status code, not the body. When a body is returned, its path field mirrors the path of the request that failed — the /api/v2/events/... path in the example below is illustrative.

Unexpected server-side failure. Retry with exponential backoff; contact your integration manager if the failure persists.
