Get a bet by reference

GET 
/api/v2/bets/by-reference/:reference

Look up a bet by the bet_reference you supplied when placing it. This lets you retrieve a bet using your own identifier instead of our bet id. If no bet matches the reference, a 404 is returned with the standard error envelope and the message Bet not found. Responses never echo your bet_reference back — store the reference-to-bet mapping on your side when you place the bet.

Requested resource does not exist (e.g. unknown event ID). Some 404 responses on path-not-found return an empty body. Branch on the status code, not the body. When a body is returned, its path field mirrors the path of the request that failed — the /api/v2/events/... path in the example below is illustrative.

Unexpected server-side failure. Retry with exponential backoff; contact your integration manager if the failure persists.
